When I first moved out of my apartment and into my house, I had no idea what was coming. Just three months in, I got my first ukulele, a Mitchell from Guitar Center. Built-in tuner, amp plug, the last one on the wall. I didn’t realize it then, but that moment kicked off everything.
I started taking music lessons and learned my first song: Somewhere Over the Rainbow, for my parents because they played and danced to the same song at their wedding
As I kept learning, I made my first EP: “Uke Dreams.” It was mostly instrumental. Just me strumming one chord, simple stuff, but it felt like a big deal. I kept going. Learned more about producing. And then came my first ever song with lyrics. It only had five lines that repeated, but this time I had an actual strumming pattern. Real chords. It was a step up.
Then came Christmas 2023. I got my second, and now main ukulele: a Luna Vineyard. Super clean sound. Beautiful look. That thing changed the game.
About a year later, I dropped my favorite song yet: “Santa’s Leaving Town.”
And from there… things haven’t stopped moving.
